Georgia Escalator Accident Suit Against Maker of Crocs Shoes Settled

The family of a 5-year-old boy who was injured in an escalator accident at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport has settled a lawsuit against the maker of the popular clogs, Crocs. The settlement was considered last Friday by Senior U.S. District Judge J. Owen Forrester. He said he wanted clarification about one provision before he gives his final approval. Details of the settlement were not released.

Other parties in the settlement include escalator maker Kone Inc. and the company that runs the airport, Atlanta Airlines Terminal Corp.
